Immerse yourself in silk and flora, with Kasiopya's
September Eco-Printing Workshop. Discover the intentional and grounding process of eco printing on silk, utilizing locally grown and foraged plants. The Kasiopya team will guide you through eco-printing your own one-of-a-kind silk piece. Your handmade creation will be yours to take home and cherish.

Ticket Options:
- One 60" x 12" silk noil scarf per participant ($180 value). Silk noil is a raw silk, with a look and feel similar to linen. Made of the short fibers generated during the silk-combing and spinning process, you can think of it as low waste silk!

One 60" x 12" silk charmeuse scarf per participant ($220 value). Your classic luxurious, sheeny silk with a satin weave. Please see our
tutorials page for inspiration to style a scarf.
- One silk charmeuse Verona Skirt ($600 value). The Verona Skirt is a multi-useful piece, in a classic cut. Featuring a drawstring waistline, subtle side slits, and cut-on-the-bias, this piece lays naturally to each wearer's unique shape. May be styled as a skirt or as a dress.
About the event:
You’ll begin by choosing your botanical materials, learning of each plant's unique properties, how to prepare and arrange them on the silk, and finally, bundle wrapping your item. We will utilize leaves, flowers, and bark grown in Miami, FL, as well as outsourced eucalyptus. The Kasiopya team will then gather your pieces to finalize the printing in our overnight boiling process. Your final products will be one-of-one silk depictions of the colors of Miami and the natural textures of each plant.
Final products will be available for pick-up September 12, at the Coconut Grove Farmers Market or participants may opt in for shipment for an additional $12 fee. Products will be available for pick-up until October 10.

- One 60" x 12" silk noil scarf per participant ($180 value)
- One 60" x 12" silk charmeuse scarf per participant ($220 value)
- One silk charmeuse Verona Skirt ($600 value)
- All botanical printing materials: plants, cotton chord, vinegar, aluminum foil
- A pair of plastic gloves per participant
