October Eco Printing Workshop

- One 60" x 12" Silk Noil Scarf per participant ($180 retail value). Silk noil is a raw silk, with a look and feel similar to linen. Made of the short fibers generated during the silk-combing and spinning process, you can think of it as low waste silk! Please see our tutorials page for inspiration to style a scarf.

- One 60" x 12" Silk Charmeuse Scarf per participant ($220 retail value). Your classic, luxurious, sheeny silk with a satin weave. Please see our tutorials page for inspiration to style a scarf.

- One Silk Charmeuse Angled Skirt ($333 retail value). A beloved, multi-wear, Kasiopya classic, the Angled Skirt may be styled as a skirt, or as a strapless, halter, 1-shouldered, and poncho top. The Angled Skirt features a deep plunged back panel of the skirt, creating significant coverage for the back and an asymmetrical look as a top. - One Silk Charmeuse Flirt Skirt ($333 retail value). A classic mini skirt, with all of the multi-use you love from Kasiopya's Angled Skirt. May be styled as a skirt, or as a strapless, halter, 1-shouldered, and poncho top. Please see our tutorials page for inspiration to the Angled Skirt.

- One Silk Charmeuse Verona Skirt ($600 retail value). The Verona Skirt is a multi-useful piece, in a classic cut. Featuring a drawstring waistline, subtle side slits, and cut-on-the-bias, this piece lays naturally to each wearer's unique shape. May be styled as a skirt or as a dress. About the event:

You’ll begin by choosing your botanical materials, learning of each plant's unique properties, how to prepare and arrange them on the silk, and finally, bundle wrapping your item. We will utilize leaves, flowers, and bark grown in Miami, FL, as well as outsourced eucalyptus. The Kasiopya team will then gather your pieces to finalize the printing in our overnight boiling process. Your final products will be one-of-one silk depictions of the colors of Miami and the natural textures of each plant.

Final products will be available for pick-up every Saturday, beginning November 7th, at the Coconut Grove Farmers Market or participants may opt in for shipment for an additional $12 fee. All tickets purchased at $250+ may receive complimentary shipping. Products will be available for pick-up until November 28th.
